We were delighted to advise premium Mochi ice cream brand and Tik Tok sensation Little Moons, in identifying and agreeing terms for a new factory in Kettering, Northants
Following the phenomenal increase inprofile when their brand went viral on Tik Tok, receiving over 300m hits in 2021, demand increased to the extent that a new factory was needed in addition to their existing facility in North London.
Commprop Solutions were retained to find premises within a 100 mile arc to the north of the current location. We worked with the Client to draw up a detailed brief of the requirement which included a shell unit with a minimum of 7m eaves height, self contained secure yard and a substantial power supply in excess of 1,250kva.
We carried out a detailed search of potentially suitable properties and produced a short list for client review and approval. One of the properties identified was a new factory of 50,000 sq ft on the outskirts of Kettering, Northantsand we negotiated a new lease on behalf of the client which was completed in early December 2021.
In addition to the working with the client’s lawyers to finalise the lease, we advised their in house team on various aspects of the power upgrade, fit out, planning and introduced structural engineers and building surveyors to undertake surveys.
Following completion of the lease, Vivien Wong, joint owner of Little Moons commented
“Gordon was instrumental in finding our site, negotiating with the landlords and driving the process forward with the lawyers. I greatly valued his tenacity, attention to detail and focus on getting the project over the line.”
